There are various ways to protect surfaces against scratches. You can cover surfaces with soft film. Once the film suffers scratches or shallow damage, the film instantly repairs the surface. Our self-healing paints provide this kind of protection.
Otherwise, you can cover the surface with hard film. Hard coating agents can cover the surfaces from those aggressions.

Soften surfaces
Tokushiki's self-healing paints cover smartphones, electric appliance enclosures, automobiles, construction materials and packages, and other devices or materials susceptible to damage during transportation. Since the films are flexible, the self-healing paints are the best topcoat materials for surfaces susceptible to cracks.

Protect from contamination/stain
You can protect surfaces from contamination/stains by (1) integrating a hydrolysis-resistant resin skeleton or (2) adding fluorine or silicone in a manner to add water repellency to the paint film to easily detach stains from the surface. We offer paints in many different categories: water- and solvent-based, and heat- and UV-curable paints.

Many smartphone and tablet users want unpleasant light or image reflections on the display to be eliminated.
Our antiglare (AG) coating agents eliminate the bothersome phenomenon from your devices.
UV-curable AG coating agents
Personal computers, car navigation systems and touch panels are covered with anti-glare and anti-reflection films to prevent the reflection of fluorescent and illumination lights. Typically, reflection is reduced by differentiating film refractive indices and controlling light pathways, while glare is reduced by forming irregularities on the film surface. We offer AG coating agents for anti-glare films, developed using our proprietary filler particle dispersion technology.
Tokushiki developed AU–600, a product that meets both anti-reflection and anti-glare requirements for high-resolution displays.
We will continue to further upgrade its performance. We also offer clearing agents for different grades.
Customers can adjust hazes to their intended uses.

Anti-glare effect of AG coating agent

Paint is evenly applied on the base material (PET) using a bar coater
- The solid composition of the coating agent was adjusted to 40%.
- A #9 bar coater was used.
- After one minute of drying at 80°C, UV was irradiated.

Mulco MT color
The products are special color bases (“seed paints”) composed of pigments dispersed solely in dispersion liquid. They are resin-free.
They offer higher pigment density and excellent color clearness. In addition, they offer superior weather and heat resistance and therefore can be used for various purposes.
They are ideal for coloring synthetic leathers, tarpaulins, 3D printer resins and decorative films.
