Tokushiki also offers unique synthetic technology products. Our synthetic resins are used as raw materials for many kinds of coating agents. Here are some typical products.
Ladder silicone chemical structure
Urethane chemical structure
Acryl chemical structure
R1: yellowing types (TDI, MDI) Non-yellowing type (HDI, IPDI)
R2: polyols with a polyester, polyether, or polycarbonate structure
Synthetic resins
The SQ series, which incorporates ladder silicone into an acrylic resin skeleton, has excellent repellency to permanent marker inks.
Some of our synthetic resins may be used in products designed to heat- and UV-curable coating agents. Urethane acrylate resins may be used to add elongation and flexibility to coating agents.

Products | Characteristic |
---|---|
SQ 100 | The product has ladder silicone incorporated in its acrylic resin skeleton. It is mixed with a polyisocyanate curing agent or melamine resin and is heat-cured. It achieves a pencil hardness of HB and has an excellent durable anti-fouling capability. |
SQ 150 | The product is a variant of SQ-100 with higher hardness (pencil hardness of 2H). |
SQ 200 | The product is a UV-curable SQ-100 variant resin with an unsaturated group introduced (pencil hardness of H). |
SQ 250 | The product is a UV-curable SQ-150 variant resin with an unsaturated group introduced (pencil hardness of 3H). |
AU-3110 | The product is UV-curable urethane acrylate resin with excellent elongation and toughness. |
AU-2040 | Polycarbonate urethane acrylate resin. It may be used as a binder for PVC topcoat and screen ink. |
AU-2090 | Polyether urethane acrylate resin. It may be used as resin for adhesives and potting agents. |
Nurate skeleton urethane acrylate resin(under development)
- Prevention of scratches by toughness, flexibility, scratch resistance, and elastic recovery
- Its main component is carbonate diol, so its weather resistance is good
- Can also balance toughness and flexibility by customization
- Yellow-free type with excellent tensile strength
