Fine particle dispersion liquids

HOME > en top > Products > Fine particle dispersion liquids

Powder particles such as pigments and fillers are typically present as aggregates of primary particles.

In the initial stage of dispersing the particle agglomerate, the particle surface is first wetted with a resin solution. Then mechanical shear force is applied to the agglomerate to refine it into separate particles. Once refined, the particles tend to re-agglomerate. Appropriate additives can stabilize the solution and prevent agglomeration.

TOKUSHIKI's ultrafine particularization technology provides high color purity, density, transmittance and contrast, and it is used to manufacture liquid crystal display monitors for personal computers, TV sets and car navigation system monitors.
Reflective sheets composed of acrylic resin and glass beads are among such products. The ultra-transparent inks, which are used to color the sheets, were developed by our ultrafine particularization technology for pigments. The inks achieve clear colors and excellent reflectivity.

Mulco MT Color Series

The products are special color bases (“seed paints”) composed of pigments dispersed solely in dispersion liquid without using resins.

They are therefore compatible with many different resin solutions including urethane, acrylic, vinyl chloride and alkyd, as well as various solvents.

They have significantly higher densities than conventional general color bases. They also have excellent dispersibility, which allows you to richly create a full range of colors by freely combining them.

Conductive carbon dispersion liquids

Conductive carbon dispersion liquid is composed of carbon pigments dispersed in a dispersion liquid/solvent without using resins.

They are therefore compatible with many different resin solutions including urethane, acrylic, vinyl chloride and alkyd, as well as various solvents. They are capable of adding conductivity to objects to be molded or coated using them.

Insulating Carbon Dispersion Liquids

The products provide high insulation capability despite the nature of carbon black. It is an insulating carbon dispersion in which carbon pigments are dispersed in dispersant/solvent. They are compatible with many different resin solutions including urethane, acrylic and polyester, as well as various solvents.

9106BLACK

The water-based dispersion liquid satisfies both high dispersion and insulation performance requirements.

8711BLACK The solvent-based (PGMEA) dispersion liquid has extensive compatibility and insulating properties.

Highly concentrated carbon black dispersion

Our typical carbon dispersions have pigment concentrations in the vicinity of 15% to 20%, whereas highly concentrated carbon dispersions have pigment concentrations of 40%. It is, of course, uniformly fine-grained and has good stability over time.
The advantages of high concentration include high light-shielding, hiding, and jet blackness even when the coating film is a thin film. In addition, there is a large design margin on the paint side. One of the features of this dispersions is its wide compatibility with various resin solutions such as urethane, acrylic, and polyester, as well as with various solvents.

Low viscosity acrylate monomer: epoxy pigment dispersion (under development)

The product provides fine particle dispersion despite its solventless nature.

It is a dispersant/low-viscosity acrylate monomer epoxy, and is capable of dispersing different kinds of pigments (organic pigments, carbon black and metal oxides).

Possible media: different kinds of acrylate monomers with low functionality (low viscosity), low-viscosity liquid epoxy, etc. Please contact us for information.

We are also available for contract dispersion services. Please feel free to contact us.
