
In the Special Feature of TOKUSHIKI's Development Products, which was reported on the last day, a Special Feature on the Development Products of Functional Dispersions Dispersed with Distinctive Functional Materials was presented. As a continuation of this report, I would like to introduce the products developed by dispersing the distinctive materials that we had not been able to introduce last time.
Features of UV-curable phosphorescence dispersions (developed products) and UV-curable elongation phosphorescent coating agent (developed products)
Phosphorescence pigments are pigments that literally store light in light environments and emit light in dark areas where there is no light. Zinc sulfide and strontium aluminate are known to have such properties.In recent years, this phosphorescence pigment has attracted attention in the world. Since the sign emits self-luminescence even in dark conditions such as at night, it is useful for preventing accidents. In addition, the necessity has been increasing due to experiences of natural disasters such as the earthquake and loss of power due to fires and lightning strikes.
TOKUSHIKI, we have developed dispersions in which phosphorescence pigments are uniformly dispersed in acrylic monomers at high concentrations. The curing type is UV (ultraviolet) curing.
We also developed a UV-curable elongation phosphorescent coating agent in which phosphorescence dispersions are mixed with elongating self-healing coats.
Features of UV-Curable phosphorescence Dispersions (Developed Products)
- High concentration dispersion type (about 50%).
- By dispersing it, it is possible to form a thin and uniform coating film.
- This is an energy-saving product because it can be cured only by UV curing and it is a solvent-free UV curing type.
- Various properties can be given depending on the type of resin to be combined.
- It is also effective for substrates (such as paper) with low heat resistance and low solvent resistance.

Features of UV-curable phosphorescent coating agent (Developed Product)
- 9200 UV-BG in UV-curable phosphorescence dispersions mixed with extensible self-repairing resins (tin-free type) to give phosphorescence performance while waiting for extensibility (pigment content: about 10%)
- This is an energy-saving product that can be cured by UV radiation alone because of the solvent-free UV curing type.
- Highly compliant type. It can also be applied to soft substrates such as TPU film.
- It is also effective for substrates (such as paper) with low heat resistance and low solvent resistance.
- Phosphorescence pigments are expected to be used as films for absorbing ultraviolet light because they cut off part of UV light.
